hey been awhile, been back from fan expo it was great, did a live show quite nervous about it but it was fun. Anyways here a character i was just playing around exploring.

here are some more city sketches, first starting off with simple shapes then blow them up to about 300 dpi which makes the image size 5000 to 6000 wide. But as of late my shoulder has been a bothering so might have to take it easy.

DWIV an extension!!

hey we have an extension...thank god, but can't afford to waste time. Here is wip with my final, but the Concept and Model sheets are pretty much done, went back to work on presentation.

another process of studying here, trying to finding an image using shape, space, value and trying to find a good workflow. Using a custom brush, it took about 2hrs...Enjoy!!

hey quick post on "The Marine" working out the details here. Thinking about the background just don't know what it is yet, or is it just him alone. This piece is looking to be bigger...will see.

WIP latest...

so far work on the face for awhile, keep flipping the image, get the balance of it. Working the details here and there, placement light for glove and power suit just tinkering with the colour. Thinking about some logo's, symbols or tattoos for the suit, bring out the character a bit more.

For the pass couple of days I've been working on a small personal project training myself and I'll show you guys the process. Having a lot of fun with this its going to be a wicked ride.

Here's the work so far...just a simple sketch get the overall right from the beginning, then i do a quick marker sketch, then the drawing took me about 5-6hrs, lol yeah i left the face blank on purpose cause i don't want to erase so much with my mistakes on drawing faces. Into photoshop i do some cleaning up, work on some colour, shadow, and fill passes.
