been awhile on my Demon Prince just wanna show a couple of updates on him. Gotta get some work done on him, figuring out the character then get started on some thumbs for the final image.

a landscape process...

Quick post, wanted to share a small process of how one was made. Started learning this technique from an artist "leventep" wicked stuff from him, he shows you how he paints and he also tells you that he got this same technique of Craig Mullins. Exploring and creating chaos from painting, finding shapes, values, and colour. I'm just getting used to the idea and loving it!!

Ok guys...couple of studies i did today wanted to share with you. I started with custom brushes and start going chaotic just painting not knowing what would happen... these what came out of me.

Each of these studies took around 2-5hrs

Studying...

Quick post on some thumbs, trying a new work flow... its got me thinking differently but for the better.

WIP latest...

so far work on the face for awhile, keep flipping the image, get the balance of it. Working the details here and there, placement light for glove and power suit just tinkering with the colour. Thinking about some logo's, symbols or tattoos for the suit, bring out the character a bit more.

Another WIP...

For the pass couple of days I've been working on a small personal project training myself and I'll show you guys the process. Having a lot of fun with this its going to be a wicked ride.

Here's the work so far...just a simple sketch get the overall right from the beginning, then i do a quick marker sketch, then the drawing took me about 5-6hrs, lol yeah i left the face blank on purpose cause i don't want to erase so much with my mistakes on drawing faces. Into photoshop i do some cleaning up, work on some colour, shadow, and fill passes.

WOW!!! What a crazy ride this was, never thought I'll do it. What an amazing experience this has brought me. For those who know me i never rarely drawing like this, funny how dedication pushes you and i wanted in on this. Thanks for the people in cgtalk to bring this mini challenge for us and Maddsketch what a guy! Anyways here it is the finished piece...

having a comment on cgtalk, i was working on the detail, making sure everything is working out. I'm still having some last decisions making on the final image, so far its looking good.
